… He visits the Regional Office of the United Nations Tourism Organization in the Middle East and meets with the director of the office<\/p>\n

In addition to the official meetings he is holding during his current short visit to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and antiquities, visited the Regional Office of the United Nations tourism organization in the Middle East, in Riyadh, where he met with Mr. Samer bin Ibrahim al-kharashi, director of the office, and the work team.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the purpose of establishing this regional office, the role and activities it performs in the Middle East Region, and its interest in encouraging investment in the tourism sector through the development of investment guides that would help member states identify the investment possibilities and opportunities available in them, which contributes to creating an attractive investment climate.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed enhancing means of cooperation in a number of areas, including capacity-building through the implementation of training programs to develop the skills and capabilities of workers in the tourism sector in Egypt, benefiting from the United Nations Tourism Organization to identify the best practices of cooperation relations between the government and the private sector, in addition to identifying the best practices of investment guides<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
