President Sisi Issues Presidential Decrees Establishing Two New Private Universities
Today, the Official Gazette published two presidential decrees issued by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi concerning the establishment of two new non-profit private universities. These decrees are part of the state’s efforts to enhance the higher education system and provide diverse and distinguished educational opportunities.
Aruba University in New Mansoura
Presidential Decree No. 375 of 2025 was issued for the establishment of Aruba University, which will be located in New Mansoura City, Dakahlia Governorate. The Official Gazette confirms that the university’s primary purpose is not to achieve profit.
New Egypt University in 6th of October City
Additionally, Presidential Decree No. 376 of 2025 was issued for the establishment of New Egypt University, which will have an independent legal personality. The university will be situated in 6th of October City, within the Industrial Central Axis in Giza Governorate. This university is also designated as a non-profit institution.
