The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology is holding its third international conference from September 28-29, 2024, titled “Industrial Pharmacy: From the Laboratory to the Market.”
The event is being held under the auspices of Professor Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub, Acting President of the University; and Dr. Rehab Ahmed Abdel-Monem, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The conference will be attended by several notable figures, including Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs; Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority; and several representatives from the authority. Other attendees include Engineer Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza; Engineer Ahmed Samir, former Minister of Trade and Industry; and Engineer Mohamed Fawzi, Head of the 6th of October City Authority.
The conference sessions will focus on advanced methods in drug discovery and the mechanisms of translating scientific research into practical applications using AI tools in pharmacy. Additionally, the discussions will cover the integration of research with pharmaceutical economics and strategies for solving pharmaceutical issues in accordance with medical and environmental sustainability principles.
