Sharif Al-Sabawi, a member of the Canadian Parliament, said that the tariff file is one of the complex files and poses a great challenge to the new prime minister of Canada. He stressed that Canada will seek to expand its partnerships with other allies in order to strengthen its economy.
The United States is a fateful partnership
In his intervention on the “Cairo news” channel, Al-Sabawi added that Canada used to consider its partnership with the United States a fateful partnership, but the situation has changed now, and that it will work to strengthen its economy by expanding its relations with other allies, without relying mainly on the United States.
He pointed out that Canada is regaining its position in various manufacturing sectors, pointing out that there is no longer direct coordination with Washington in this regard
