Turki Al-Sheikh takes Egyptian and Arab cinema to the world after the production of the movie Welad Rizk 3 “The Judge”, where millions of dollars were pumped by His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh and the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, and all resistance was provided to produce an international film like Welad Rizk, where it was filmed. Most of the film takes place in Riyadh and the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia. Cristiano Ronaldo and many celebrities and international people appear in the film in many fields, such as football and boxing. The film is an important document of the success of the Riyadh Season.
Counsellor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, also celebrated the special screening of the film “Walad Rizk 3 Al-Qadhia” in the Boulevard City area. The film’s screening was preceded by a press conference for the film’s makers, led by the stars Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Aser Yassin, and Karim. Qasim, Sayed Ragab, Ali Sobhi, producer Musa Issa, director Tariq Al-Erian, Salah Al-Juhaini, who expressed their great happiness in producing this work in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority and “Riyadh Season” and succeeded in achieving a great leap in the third part, stressing that the support Turki Al-Sheikh and his guidance contributed to the success of the film, which achieved large numbers at the box office.
For his part, Turki Al-Sheikh said: “We are happy to support Arab art, and our goal is to achieve success through a film that benefits the Riyadh season, but our ambitions go far beyond that, and we are preparing in the future for Saudi, Arab, and international productions.”
He continued: “The budget for Welad Rizk 3 reached $12 million, which is a huge number that we seek to exceed in the future with other films and experiences. We will begin implementing the fourth part of Welad Rizk and it will be released at the same time next year.”
Turki Al-Sheikh explained: “We will support all true Arab creativity. We will sponsor Mohamed Henedy’s film Sterling, we will support Karim Abdel Aziz’s film The Blue Elephant 3, and the fourth part of Rizq’s Sons will be a surprise.”
Welad Rizk 3, The Judge, was filmed in 66 days between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and the number of its crew in the Kingdom reached 700 people, directed by Tariq Al-Erian and written by Salah Al-Juhaini.
Al-Ahly club football players Imam Ashour, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, and Mohamed Gedi Qafsha launched an advertising campaign to promote the movie “Walad Rizk 3…The Judge”, which was released yesterday, and the movie enjoyed huge public demand, to the point that some cinemas organized additional concerts to accommodate the crowds.
Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, revealed that he supported the production of 3 to 5 new films, which are scheduled to be shown during the coming period in Saudi Arabia, in addition to his completely producing 3 Saudi films.
