Iraq strongly condemns the statements of the Israeli occupation government and declares its solidarity with Egypt

The Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Iraq expressed its strong condemnation of the statements issued by the Israeli occupation government, which aims to obstruct the ceasefire efforts in the Gaza Strip, in order to continue the serious violations practiced by the occupation forces.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement its full solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in the face of these false allegations, and rejects the attempts of the Israeli entity to falsify the facts and mislead the international community through lies related to the border strip between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, which portends a dangerous escalation of violence in the region.

The Iraqi foreign ministry stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to oblige the occupation forces to immediately end their aggression on Gaza, in order to enable addressing the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip.
