The minister of Foreign Affairs and migration receives the EU Special Representative for the Middle East peace process

Receive Dr.Badr Abdul Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and migration, on Monday فبراير February, Mr. Sven Koopmans, the European Union’s special representative for the Middle East peace process, on the sidelines of the fourth meeting of the international coalition to implement the two-state solution.

The foreign minister stressed the need to intensify the pace of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip in view of the deteriorating conditions in the Strip, and the need to start early recovery and reconstruction programs as soon as possible, noting that Egypt is developing an integrated vision to ensure early recovery and reconstruction with the presence of the Palestinian population on their lands. The minister gave a detailed explanation about the different stages and timelines of the Egyptian vision for the early recovery and reconstruction plan in the Gaza Strip.

 

For his part, the European official praised the pivotal role played by Egypt in reaching the ceasefire agreement, also praising the tireless efforts exerted by Egypt to develop an integrated vision for early recovery and reconstruction in the pride of the presence of Palestinians on their land, expressing his support for these efforts
