The Egyptian Minister of foreign affairs and immigration, Badr Abdel Ati, received on Wednesday a telephone call from the minister of foreign affairs and expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bassam Sabbagh.
According to a publication of the Egyptian Ministry of foreign affairs on its official Facebook page, the call discussed the latest developments and developments on the ground in northern Syria, and the serious repercussions of these developments on the security and stability of Syria and the entire region.
Abdel Ati reiterated Egypt’s firm position and support for the Syrian state, its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
The Egyptian minister stressed the crucial importance of protecting civilians.
They also discussed ways of Arab support for the Syrian state, in light of recent developments, especially within the framework of the work of the league of Arab states
