The Egyptian and Emirati presidents stress the importance of the Ras Al-Hikma project

President Abdel Fattah al Sisi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly UAE, witnessed the launch of the Ras Al Hekma development project, in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, prime minister, as well as a number of leading businessmen from the Egyptian and Emirati sides.

During the project launch events, the two presidents watched a visual presentation about the project’s objectives and components, and its great economic, investment, real estate, tourism and environmental importance, as well as listened to an explanation about the advantages of the region, integrated services and economic development opportunities provided by the project, and also witnessed the signing of a number of Egyptian and Emirati companies on the contracts to start the project.

The two presidents expressed their thanks and appreciation to those responsible for implementing the project from the Egyptian and Emirati sides during the past period, stressing its importance in strengthening economic and investment relations between the two brotherly countries, as it represents a model of constructive development partnership between Egypt and the UAE.

The two presidents also witnessed the launch of a number of international, Egyptian and Emirati companies to launch a partnership to promote innovation in the smart electric vehicles sector in the Middle East and North Africa.
