Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and sports, received at the ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital, ambassador Khairat Lama Sharif, ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo, to discuss strengthening the frameworks of joint cooperation between the two countries at the level of youth and sports, in the presence of the ministry’s leaders.
The meeting touched upon the submission of an invitation to the minister of youth and sports to participate in the nomadic horse festival next September in Kazakhstan, and also discussed the signing of two memorandums of understanding between the two sides to enhance cooperation in the fields of youth and sports.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister of youth and Sports welcomed the Kazakh ambassador at the ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital, noting the progress towards strengthening cooperation between Egypt and Kazakhstan at the youth and Sports levels, through cooperation with the ministries of tourism, sports, culture and information of Kazakhstan.
The minister of youth and sports stressed the depth of Egyptian-Kazakh relations, noting the keenness of the political leadership of both countries to strengthen cooperation in all fields, which was evident during the visit of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Kazakhstan, which enhances understanding and communication between the peoples of the two countries.
For his part, the ambassador of Kazakhstan thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and sports, for his keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, which have strong historical ties, pointing out that there are many opportunities for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Egypt in the field of youth, such as the exchange of programs and experiences, and the organization of joint bilateral events.
During the meeting, Ambassador Khairat Lama Sherif, ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo, delivered a letter from the minister of Tourism and sports of Kazakhstan to congratulate Dr. Ashraf Sobhi for renewing confidence in him as Minister of youth and sports, wishing him continued success
