Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, received the Sheikh. Mr. Hammoud Mubarak Al-Hammoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Head of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Kuwait and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the ministry’s general Diwan in the new administrative capital to discuss aspects of joint cooperation in the field of Civil Aviation.
The two sides praised the positive results of the round of bilateral negotiations held between the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and its Kuwaiti counterpart, in the framework of supporting the directives of the government of the two brotherly countries to advance further prospects of cooperation and joint economic integration between them, in order to effectively benefit the Egyptian and Kuwaiti air carriers and achieve more desired services for passengers.
During the meeting, the minister of Civil Aviation welcomed the head of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Kuwait and his accompanying delegation, noting the importance of holding these joint talks to support cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, to meet the requirements of the growth of air traffic and incoming tourism to the destinations of Egyptian tourist attractions, praising the results of these bilateral negotiations through the signing of a joint memorandum of understanding to update the operational practices between Egypt and Kuwait in the field of Civil Aviation.
For his part, the head of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation in the state of Kuwait expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the minister of Civil Aviation for the warm welcome, praising the positive and effective results of the meeting between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti sides, in order to achieve the desired benefit for each, wishing further cooperation and fruitful partnerships between the two countries in the field of Civil Aviation.
