The prime ministers of Egypt and Iraq witness the signing of a number of cooperation documents and the minutes of the meetings of the joint Egyptian-Iraqi Higher Committee

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, prime minister of Iraq, and Mr. Mohamed Shaya al-Sudani, prime minister of Iraq, witnessed the signing ceremony of a number of cooperation documents between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the state of Iraq, following the holding of the extended talks session of the Egyptian-Iraqi Joint Higher Committee.

The first document was a proposed draft protocol of cooperation between Egypt and Iraq in the field of local development, signed by the Egyptian side, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of local development, and signed by the Iraqi side, Dr. Mohammed Tamim, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of planning.

The second document includes a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of standardization and quality control between the Central Organization for Standardization and quality control in the Republic of Iraq and the General Organization for specifications and quality, affiliated to the Ministry of industry in the Arab Republic of Egypt, signed by Lieutenant General Engineer/ Kamel al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of industry and transport, and signed from the Iraqi side by Dr. Mohammed Tamim, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of planning.

The third document was a draft memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Holding Company for silos and the general company for Iraqi grain trading; to exchange experiences in the field of construction, operation and maintenance of silos, signed by the Egyptian side, Dr. Sharif Farouk, Minister of supply and internal trade, and signed by the Iraqi side, Mr. Atheer Daoud Salman, Minister of Commerce.

The fourth document includes a draft memorandum of understanding for the ground transportation of passengers and cargo between the Ministry of transport of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Ministry of transport of the Republic of Iraq, signed by the Egyptian side, Lieutenant General Engineer/ Kamel al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of industry and transport, and signed by the Iraqi side Mr. / Razzaq mohibis al-Saadawi, Minister of transport.

The fifth document was a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and antiquities/ House of books and documents of the Republic of Iraq, and the Ministry of Culture/ House of books and national documents of the Arab Republic of Egypt, signed by the Egyptian side, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and international cooperation, and signed by the Iraqi side, Dr. Ahmed fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism and antiquities.

The sixth document contains a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of antiquities and museums between the Supreme Council of Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the General Authority for antiquities and heritage of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and antiquities, signed from the Egyptian side by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and international cooperation, while signed from the Iraqi side by Dr. Ahmed fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism and antiquities.

The seventh document was the draft executive program for cultural cooperation between the Ministry of culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Iraq( 2025-2027), signed on the Egyptian side by Dr. Rania Al – Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and international cooperation, while signed on the Iraqi side by Dr. Ahmed fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism and antiquities.

The eighth document came with a draft memorandum of understanding between the Baghdad secretariat in the Republic of Iraq and the Cairo governorate in the Arab Republic of Egypt, signed by the Egyptian side, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of local development, while it was signed by the Iraqi side, engineer/ Ammar Musa, Secretary of Baghdad.

The ninth document was a draft memorandum of understanding between the Securities Commission of the Republic of Iraq and the General Authority for financial supervision of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of regulating supervision and supervision of financial markets, signed by the Egyptian side, Dr. Islam Azzam, deputy chairman of the General Authority for financial supervision, while signed by the Iraqi side Mr. Faisal Al-Hims, chairman of the Iraqi Securities Commission.

The tenth document was a draft memorandum of understanding to enhance joint cooperation in the field of communications and Information Technology between the media and Communications Authority in the Republic of Iraq and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt, signed by the Egyptian side, Engineer / Mohamed Hassan Shamrokh, CEO of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, while signed by the Iraqi side, Dr. Ali al-Moayed, chairman of the media and Communications Authority.

The eleventh document includes a draft memorandum of understanding between the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Iraqi chambers of Commerce, signed by the Egyptian side, Engineer/ Mohamed Saada, vice president of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, and signed by the Iraqi side, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-zuhairy, president of the Federation of Iraqi chambers of Commerce.

The twelfth document contains a draft memorandum of understanding between the competition protection and Prevention of monopolistic practices authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the competition and antitrust Affairs Council of the Republic of Iraq on cooperation in the field of promoting competition and combating monopolistic practices, signed by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and international cooperation, from the Egyptian side, and signed by Mr. Ahmed Younis Kassem, chairman of the competition and antitrust Affairs Council, from the Iraqi side.

In conclusion, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, prime minister, and Mr. Mohammed Shaya al-Sudani, prime minister of Iraq, signed the minutes of the meetings of the third session of the Egyptian-Iraqi Joint Higher Committee.
