Haifa Wahbe in the north coast after the success of the Kafr el Sheikh concert in Egypt

Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbe stole attention at a concert she held in Kafr el-Sheikh governorate (delta Egypt), on Friday evening, following the decision of the syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt to lift the suspension of her activity, and her name topped search engines, in conjunction with the concert, which witnessed a large public attendance.
She conducted rehearsals for the concert hours before the arrival of the audience, which swarmed by thousands, while her fans and fans recorded footage of the concert through the hashtag “Haifa _ohebi_ in Egypt”, with hundreds of tweets and screenshots.

Last weekend, Haifa ended the crisis of her suspension in Egypt, and prevented her from working due to her lack of commitment to revive a concert she had contracted with party organizer Yasser Hariri on July 19 last, knowing that she ended the subject immediately upon her arrival in Egypt with amicable reconciliation, expressing in a video her appreciation to the syndicate, and containing the misunderstanding that occurred.

Photos and footage posted to the concert by followers on “X” showed thousands attending, while the audience appeared chanting clips of her famous songs with her.

Egyptian art critic Mohamed Abdel Khalek attributed the interest in the concert of the Lebanese artist to being the first after the decision to stop her, besides his stay in an unfamiliar place for summer concerts, which is the Kafr el Sheikh governorate in the Delta, while the stars celebrate their summer concerts in the north coast and other famous places.

“Despite the fact that the concert is a luxury tourist resort, the location of the resort and Haifa’s agreement to attend it made many people disbelieve her presence to revive the concert, which witnessed the influx of her audience from various surrounding cities,” Abdel Khalek told Al-Sharq al-Awsat.

Haifa Wahbi was accompanied on stage during the presentation of a collection of her old and modern songs by dancing reviews on the songs amid applause and interaction from the audience.

Haifa had anticipated her concert in Kafr el-Sheikh by posting a set of photos of her while she was on the north coast, and shots of the audience gathering around her in order to take commemorative photos with her, and documented this with videos posted through her accounts on social networking sites.

Abdelkhalek points out that”the public’s gathering around the Lebanese artist, and his keenness to take commemorative photos with her during her presence on the coast is repeated with the stars, and reflects the public of Haifa Wehbe, who was keen to show it, especially after the recent suspension crisis controversy”.
