The Saudi minister of industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim al-khorayef, during bilateral meetings he held with Spanish companies in Madrid on Saturday, discussed joint opportunities in the industries of”drones” and cars, and the development of geological surveys.
Al-kharaifi discussed with the leaders of major Spanish companies the mutual opportunities in the field of localization of the most prominent advanced industries focused on developing the national strategy for the industry, including the localization of the heavy-payload drone industry and its components, the automotive industry, engineering and design, shipbuilding and maintaining their manufacturing supply chains, in addition to the development of comprehensive and sustainable geological surveys, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During his tour of the Institute’s Museum, Al-kharif discussed with the director of the Spanish Geological and Mining Institute, Ana Maria Alonso Zarza, the opportunities for cooperation in the field of geological research, the provision of high-precision and high-quality geological and technical data necessary for various scientific and industrial applications.
